Behold, God is Great, and We Do Not Know Him." Job 36:26

God I ask that You release a hunger and release the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of our heart; enlighten us. Do what only You can do.

Almost 2 years ago now, I was awakened by voices singing, " Steady your witness, steady your witness, steady your witness! Don't you bow!" This was the cry of heaven and still is, to me personally and to His bride across the earth. He knows the end from the beginning and He knew a shaking was coming to my heart and He knows a shaking is coming to the earth. He has promised it (Hebrews 12:26.) In this hour He is calling us like never before to increase in the knowledge of Him. Not a knowledge that puffs up, but a knowledge that fills the earth with glory that covers it like the sea. Now is the time to search Him out!
"You have said, Seek my face. My heart says to You, Your face, O Lord, do I seek. (Psalm 27:8)"

What happens to the earth when His own truly believe He is who He says He is?! I'm seeking this for my own heart! Just like Job, I find I haven't even scratched the top layer of dust from my digging! I want to know the depths of His heart! Could this nation be turned back to Him? Could the miracles of the bible be the norm and not a shock when they take place, as to expose what we really believe about Him?
I say YES! He is nothing like what we have imagined ( Psalm 50:21.) When we acknowledge this truth and walk in humility, we will get Him out of the box we have confined Him to! Let's jump off into Eternity and search the Unsearchable, never-ending God out! Let's steady our witness where our feeble knees are strengthened by the true knowledge of what He is like is established in our hearts. Let's set out to find the deepest most intimate parts of this deep well of His heart, so we remain in love.

AW Tozer calls the worshipping our idea of God instead of God himself the essence of idolatry, defining it as "the entertainment of thoughts about God that are unworthy of Him." Spirit of Revelation reveal truth to our hearts! I think this is the revelation Isaiah had and declared, "I am a man of unclean lips (Isa 6.)" Once he really saw Him, he knew he did not speak rightly of Him! God reveal to my heart truth that I may declare you rightly to the earth. Make me a voice! I believe this is what He is after ... a Bride that will declare," Behold ...(Isa 40)!!!!!!

2 Corinthians 10:4-5... Get on the battle ground and wage war against the lies, false accusations of what He is like! It doesn't matter what person fed us lies or gave us wrong views by their actions or our past experiences that have established our view of what He is like. Humans are human and God IS God! Go through the door of revelation and enter the throne room. Find the truth for yourself! The earth is waiting!!! Cast down every vain imagination and false accusation from the Accuser, the Father of LIES. Spirit of Truth come! He does not relate to us like we relate to others. He is totally other than- Holy, Perfect, Faithful and True! Encounter the God of the Bible! Who do you say He is? Steady your witness. What is your history with Him? " Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him (Job 36:26.)"

Prepare the voices God to declare your fame. Raise up friends for Your son.
My Beloved is white, my beloved is ruddy! He is dazzling and excellent! Fairest among 10,000! O how I love Him. No one compares. He never ends. How majestic He is! Unsearchable God, there is no one like You!

Totally Other Than

The desire to be unique; Where does it come from? Thinking about this today and laughing at myself. This desire has always been in me! It's been a thorn at times and a great joy at others. Haaa Haaaa, still laughing at myself haaaaa. If we are honest, we all have this plague of heart to be ~ Totally Other Than!

You can see this desire to be different with every generation. This wave (movement) that defines (separates) one generation from the next. Their hearts cry, "We are not like you! We are different! Let me be me!" Each one with a wanting to be recognized for their uniqueness. A wanting to leave their own mark in the earth. A desire to leave their fingerprints so to speak, that they are totally other than any others.

My heart burns with this same desire to be different. It has always been there. What I've come to understand through years of sitting with the One who placed it in me is, if surrendered, the earth WILL be marked forever with the fingerprints of God!

At the beginning of time the Original One, the 1st and only Totally Other Than one, created us in His image. This Holy Seed (Isa 6:13) placed in our hearts wants to spring forth in us to return the earth to its original design. This is what it means when it says, " be Holy as I am Holy ( 1 Peter 1)." It's as if He is saying or giving us permission to be different, to BE TOTALLY OTHER THAN! This desire is what we were created to go for! It is what the earth is looking for! It is what the earth is groaning for (Romans 8:22)!!! We are called to be holy (different, unique); in this world but not of this world (Romans 12). If we would surrender our struggle for uniqueness and BEHOLD the One heaven cries out to continually, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY," we would receive the desire of our hearts.  We would become what we behold! We would be what we were created to be... TOTALLY OTHER THAN!  We would be a generation like none the earth has ever seen!!! Separated, Set Apart, HOLY! Let Him (the Seed, the Shoot, Isaiah 11) come forth through us!

OUR hearts cry will be, " I am not my own! I was bought with a price ( 1 Cor 7:23)! I am marked by Him to mark the earth. I AM TOTALLY OTHER THAN!!! "

Holiness arise. Spring forth in this generation. May the earth never be the same!

Wait ~ UNTIL

*The waiting... O the waiting for answered prayers. Sitting and waiting can be so frustrating. Why the wait? What's the point? I have to admit Your wisdom in this. If You would give to me right when I want, I would never know You. You seem to be more interested in our conversations. The sitting, the asking, the waiting... the one thing needed (Luke 10:42). I must admit You are Wise.

O the Beauty of this Man! If we could only see His beauty and wisdom in it all. If we would only sit, wait, and ask ~ UNTIL. If we could only see the wisdom and the goodness in the waiting and in the silence ( Lam 3:26). The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him (Lam 3:25). O to be the very friend of God through it all. To bear His burden, His yoke and delight in it. What challenge to remain steadfast in it daily. This is why it is so important to set our gaze on Him, and behold His beauty; to wait on the Lord. We remember daily about His mercies, His steadfast love, and His great faithfulness in this waiting and gazing. Then like Jeremiah, our soul can say," The Lord is my portion, therefore I will hope in Him."

Steadying your witness of who He is, is only done by this waiting and watching in the delay of answer. We get to understand the way His heart moves. We get to (begin) to understand His ways. We really get to know Him! And when He comes, even if it's only with one word to sustain you UNTIL, your heart rejoices because it knows He is with you ALWAYS! He is always NEAR! Their really is nothing to fear because no matter the outcome or the length of season, HE REMAINS. You feel His mercies and they are new every morning(Lam 3)!

Great is Your faithfulness O God! I love being Your friend. Take me deeper. I will watch daily at your gates and wait by Your doorpost (Prov 8:34). Fill me with Your ways. Give me understanding. Make me a watcher, a waiter, a worshipper, and a steadfast warrior. My human heart wants to know Yours. UNTIL my heart burns like Yours, I will sit in silence, not complain but lift my heart and hands to You forever (Lam 3)! Come quickly ~ But I will wait UNTIL! You are good!

While the Bridegroom is Away~ the season of delay

Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast (Mt. 9:15)." Jesus is saying here that there is coming a day when I will be taken from you. And in this day you will mourn, long, ache, groan, and even fast for Me to return! We are in this day. We are living in this period of delay. What are you doing in this period of delay? I find myself thinking about this a lot these days because this longing, this ache is becoming weighty. My insides seem to be so stirred and with a stirring I'm not quite used to. So, in my meditation and asking Jesus what to do with this I'm saying to Him,"At times God the ache is hard to bear. I almost want to avoid your presence because it shakes my insides so much. I know God that doesn't make sense haaa, I know, but help me understand! Help me understand what I'm feeling." And it's as if He answers to me with, " Do not grow weary in the weightiness and appease this groan, but remain. It is right to want to be with Me where I am. It is also my prayer. Remember, ' Father I desire..(Jn.17:24)?' Laura, your desire is an echo and a participating with Me in My desire." So why this longing; this aching? Simple. Because He is not here. You see, you cannot know Him and not deeply miss Him. The longing flows out of knowing Him. Do you ache for Him as He does for you? Does your Spirit cry COME?!
I choose to remain in and embrace this ache(longing, mourning). His desire is that His Bride long for Him; that His friends mourn and fast for Him. He will not come until the Bride erupts with this groan, "...COME (Rev. 22:17)!" I want to meet His desire.
It's good to understand the heart of our Bridegroom and desire what He desires. What a privilege? Long for Him! The Spirit and the Bride say Come!

"Come away with Me, Come away with Me"... whispers I love and long to hear. Whispers that add to, create and intensify the ache within my heart to REALLY know Him; to really know what His love is like. It was these first whispers from His mouth I ever heard that began this journey of love that will last for Eternity! This One, Jesus, is the voice that whispers these words that create longing & desire for more and more of His love.
A love that is as vast as the ocean, so deep, so wide and so STRONG, that nothing can separate me from it(Romans 8:38)! O the wonder that this Love desires me and desires you so fiercely that even death could not stop it! His love gets me every time and how could I ever say No! So, even in my weakness, my sadness, my laziness, disappointments, and my longings, my heart cries, "Kiss me with the kisses of Your mouth- for Your LOVE is better than wine(SOS 2:2)." Your love sustains me. I never want this ache to go away! I pray I always desire You Jesus as my ONE THING!
